TakeFivve ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our AI-powered mockup generation service and e-commerce platform integrations.
By using TakeFivve, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
UK Data Controller: This service is operated from the United Kingdom and complies with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

📥 1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
- Email address (for account creation and authentication)
- Business name and website URL (optional)
- Industry and brand preferences (optional)
- Password (stored encrypted using bcrypt hashing)
1.2 Shopify Integration Data
- Shop domain and basic store information
- Product data (titles, descriptions, images, prices)
- Collection and category information
- OAuth access tokens (stored securely in our encrypted database)
1.3 Etsy Integration Data
- Shop name and basic shop information
- Listing data (titles, descriptions, images, prices)
- Taxonomy and category information
- OAuth access tokens (stored securely in our encrypted database)
All Etsy data is retrieved from the single shop you authorise, using the official
Etsy API. We request only the listings_r, listings_w
and shops_r permissions. We never access
other sellers' shops, listings or member data, and we do not retrieve Etsy data
by any means other than the Etsy API. No Etsy content (listings, images or shop
data) is ever sent to an AI or machine learning model or used to train one.

Data from connected platforms is treated differently
Etsy and Shopify data is used only to provide the service to the seller whose shop it came from. It is never used for analytics, aggregation or benchmarking across sellers, and it is never used to train, fine-tune or develop artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

If a data breach affects your data we will tell you without undue delay. Where it affects data from your Etsy shop, we will tell you and Etsy within 24 hours of finding it.

We do NOT sell your personal data to third parties.
We may share your information only in these limited circumstances:
- • Shopify Integration: Data necessary for app functionality is shared with Shopify per their API terms
- • Etsy Integration: Data necessary for app functionality is shared with Etsy per their API terms
- • Service Providers: AWS for hosting, Stripe for payments, email service providers for notifications
- • Legal Requirements: When required by UK law or to protect our rights
- • Business Transfer: In case of merger or acquisition (with notice)

Backups are retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted.
Connected platform data
When you disconnect an Etsy or Shopify shop we delete that integration's access tokens immediately. Listing data you imported stays in your TakeFivve account so you don't lose your work. To have it removed, email support@takefivve.com and we will delete it within 30 days. Etsy listing data is refreshed each time you sync; where it is more than six hours old we display its age and flag it as out of date.

To exercise these rights: Contact us at support@takefivve.com or use the data export feature in your account dashboard.
Revoking platform access: You can disconnect Etsy or Shopify at any time from your TakeFivve settings, or directly within Etsy or Shopify. On disconnection we delete the access tokens for that integration.

Note: We do not use third-party advertising cookies or track users across other websites.
